You may have some questions
The workshop begins with a brief introduction to Ohara Ikebana, followed by a teacher’s demonstration. Participants then move on to a hands-on session where they create their own flower arrangements under the teacher’s guidance. Personalized feedback is provided throughout the process, and there’s time to interact and learn from other participants' refined arrangements.
Scissors, containers, and kenzan (pinholders) are provided. All you need to bring is a camera to photograph your work and a plastic bag to carry your flowers home.
Absolutely! No prior experience is necessary. The workshop is designed to be a mindful and relaxing experience for all skill levels, including those who have never tried Ikebana before.
You'll leave with your own beautiful Ikebana creation—a unique reminder of the peace and focus you experienced during the session. Additionally, you’ll gain a new skill to bring a touch of Japanese aesthetics into your home.
The workshops take place every Sunday in Bloomsbury, London - Orchidya Flower Boutique. It’s the perfect way to relax, reflect, and prepare for the week ahead.
