Ikebana Ohara - 2 courses
Using just a few stems and minimal flowers, to create a design according to Ohara Ikebana’s structure, the old oriental philosophy and embracing the beauty of simplicity and nature.
A second course will reinforce the knowledge and build up the confidence of arranging Ohara Ikebana in a short period of time. It is recommended to take two lessons together on the same day, that will reinforce the knowledge and build up the confidence of arranging Ohara Ikebana in a short period of time.
Throughout the process, your teacher will guide you, offering personalised feedback to help refine your arrangement. By the end of each lesson, you'll have gained one stamp by your teacher.
The workshops take place every Sunday on 42 Store Street, Bloomsbury, London - Orchidya Flower Boutique.
All necessary tools and materials, including scissors, containers, and kenzan (pinholders), are provided. Just bring a camera to capture your creation and a plastic bag to take your flowers home.
The workshop begins with a brief introduction to Ohara Ikebana, followed by a teacher’s demonstration. Participants then move on to a hands-on session where they create their own flower arrangements under the teacher’s guidance. Personalized feedback is provided throughout the process, and there’s time to interact and learn from other participants' refined arrangements.
