Watering: To keep your houseplants healthy, it's important to water them correctly. Overwatering is a common mistake, so aim to keep the compost moist and wait until it's nearly dry before watering again. Check the moisture level by pushing your finger into the compost. Water from above and use saucers to collect excess water. During the spring and summer, plants will require more water than in winter when they're dormant. Most houseplants can tolerate tap water.

Location: Avoid placing your plants near drafts, radiators, or air conditioning units, as sudden changes in temperature can shock and stress them.

Cleaning: Dust can quickly build up on leaves. This isn't only unsightly but also prevents plants from growing properly. Use a piece of kitchen paper towel to wipe clean the leaf.
